Hi.

2 x computers, both Win 10 64-bit
On same private network which is domain, network.local

When I click on Network via Windows Explorer, I can see the all computers on the network.
When I click on any of them, a login screen pops up.
But, when I click on my other computer, it says: "This folder is empty". No login screen. This also happens when I try to connect from my other computer to this one?

Can you please help/advise me what I am doing wrong or what setting I need to change?

Have you shared anything on the machine you are trying to access? If so, how did you present the share?

I changed/set it at: Network & Internet settings | Ethernet | Changed Advance Sharing Options.security.JPG

I want a login screen to pop-up as happens with other computers on same network.

You need to share a folder or file.

You have enabled sharing as a function, as can be seen in the above image, but you need to actively share something.

Yeah but when you share an actual directory on the machine? You set permissions per share, not the machine itself...

Thank you all for your help. Interesting observation is that I also could not even access files on this computer via "Network". I then shared "Downloads" folder on this computer and now all folders are accessible on this computer via "Network" in Windows Explorer.
I will now do the same with a folder on my other computer.

Thank you once again.

Glad you're sorted
