Ok so my uncapped ADSL was installed today, AWESOME!

What will be the best way to cancel iburst, Phone? (I heard they don't pick up), e-mail?, both? I just want to get this over and done asap.

Email and follow up with phone call...

Check their website for cancellation policy details (i.e. 1 month notice etc)...

You might have to even send a fax, they might be stuck in 2000 where their pricing is :]

Just make damned sure you have covered all bases, as iBurst has a history of pretending to not have received cancellations.

They then go on to bill you for months.

Bastard scum of the earth, in my opinion - and I got shot of them many years ago.

And after you have struggled and fought and got around to cancelling, go to your bank and block any further transactions from them. Trust me, they WILL continue billing you.

Hehe, I know how bad their business practices are so I have a little surprise for them. When I signed up years ago I created a ABSA saving account just for their debit order, so the moment they take their last debit order I cancel that account. Yay! :)

Not really looking forward to their crap today but I will send them a mail and phone them as well. Will see if they have a fax number.

I had good service from them, bandwith wise from 2007 till few weeks ago when the entire western cape area went offline. Now they are so slow and I dont think they intent to improve on it. Sad.

Thanks for the feedback and wish me luck with them today, maybe I should drink a glass or 2 of vodka just to get ready :)

I would love to know how many people have cancelled their accounts with iWorst because they removed the "uncapped anytime" service.

I have just cancelled mine, and will be putting a stop order on my account to make sure they don't take any money.

Just got this email from them:

Good day

Please note the eservice will be terminated on the 31/05/2015, last debit being 30/04/2015

Ref: XXX-XX-XXXXXXXX

Thanks.

Mine is also now cancelled. Isaac also helped me. I was impressed how fast they cancelled. I was stressing that I would have to spend my entire day on the phone.

I did not even know they cancelled the uncapped anytime service. I got them in 2007 because I was on a farm with no other option. I had good speeds and could not complain about it. But having double debit orders happen and now my speed which is terrible I don't think they will last long.

B.K and In_Need_Of_sPeeD go double check your invoices that you have not already paid for May.
