Tonight I plan to braai a turkey leg, the thing is huge. By the time the inner is cooked, the outer skin will be burned. Do youtthink I must place it in a microwave oven first?

We did an entire turkey in the rotisserie on the braai for Christmas. Took 1hr45mins and it was divine. If you have a rotisserie then use it, else check the temparature so ti's not too hot, and no direct flames, you can always finish it over a 'licking' flame when it's cooked through.
Alternatively season and cook in the oven at 180deg to 200ged for approx 20mins and finish over the flames.

Only got a normal braai
Just do the whole thing on the weber, screw this microwave and precooking nonsense.

He said he has a 'normal' braai, I'm guessing it's a boxy type. Which means no Weber.
