How to build a base on the moon

Apparently the Moon travels at 3683 kilometres per hour. How does one land on an object travelling that fast?

you really want to go there patrick? we both pointed out numerous things not quite right with the moon landings,
I think this is like those rich people setting plots of moon to rich people!

until we actually get a private company on the moon, and all of this starts making sense,
I mean were in 2016, did you still believe when you were growing up that NOTHING significant would happen space travel in the last 20 years?
I mean seriously, nothing has moved, we still stuck on this garbage and polluted world, that is in danger of being wiped out by a virus or plague.

and many ways have been shown to get into orbit, that dont require rockets, can be duplicated and upscaled quite easily!

question is what do "they" know that they not telling us....
 
Sounds far fetched.

When we "first" landed on the moon. Did we know exactly the "speed" of this Moon?

1km off and you will crash.

Yes Paddy my son, we knew EXACTLY the speed of the moon.. but in its relative travel to Earth as well as its rotational speed....

Our space crafts can go a 'little' faster than that, around 10 times as fast, roughly 30 000km per hour. Matching its orbit and speed around earth is a piece of cake.
