How to cache (CDN) youtube data?

We allow Youtube at the school and most of the children view the same crap music videos - I want to cache it, it’s a rural school so expensive data costs and limited backhaul.

I want to put a “micro-cloud” down and act as a Youtube CDN.

Can one create a CDN/Cache for youtube on a raspberry pi 4 with a 5TB external drive?

Peplink makes routers with caching. Not sure if it will help specifically for the youtube issue.

For YT, they can't.. YouTube returns cache-control headers for the video parts with a value of private, which allows caching of video objects only by a private cache like a browser for a single client..
