How to calculate power usage in ZAR?

Hi guys, been looking at getting either a 5070 ti or a 9070 XT. Was sold on a 9070 XT, but looking at benchmarks/reviews the 5070 Ti also seems decent.

I did notice the 5070 ti uses about 200w and the 9070 300w, not sure if that is a big deal or not.

Is there any way to calculate the price difference in using one versus the other?

Take the number of hours you're going to use it for. Multiple the wattage by that, then take that and times by your rate.
Also that is the "power" consumption, my 9070 claims 220 but it's closer to 250.
The 5070ti has a max claimed consumption of 300w. Are you sure you're not looking at the 5070 vs the 9070xt?

kWh rate from municipality x 0.2 (200 watt) = cost per hour.

Okay I was able to calculate it roughly, seems the gap is closer to 50-80w than 100w as I thought.

So the ZAR difference is minimal, even over a year of usage.

Yup it comes down to the cost, plus remember Nvidia is more plug and play. Plus more games support it
 
I think you missed a few things, your PSU should be the thing you are calculating not your GPU.

You want something like this.

230V Socket Meter Digital Watt Meter Plug-in Power Meter Electricity Usage

This will tell you your power draw while your system is under load. I borrowed my Sister-in-law's a couple of weeks ago and I am looking to get my own one. it tells you what your power draw is in Watt/h and from there it is a simple calculation to get the rand value.
