how to change duplex mode on Iburst modem

How does one change the ethernet port on the modem from Half Duplex to full duplex.The modem appears to operate in half duplex only.IS this configured by Iburst ? or can we change it?

Mine seems to be connected in full duplex after auto negotiation.
What device do you have your iBurst modem plugged into?

I have a Netgear WNR1000 attached via ethernet.This appears to connect at 10m halfDuplex.When I connect another device to the router.I am able to connect at 100m Full duplex.Reconnect to the Iburst modem at 10 half duplex.Although the speeds offered by Iburst will not improve if the duplex mode is changed.

Mine is a "silver surfer" 2Mbps iBurst modem.

Not used one of these, but the setting is usually part of the device setting.
