Hi guys,
A friend of mine asked me to connect his Iburst desktop modem so that he can connect to the internet wirelessly with his laptop. The Iburst is currently connected with the USB cable, therefore requires a PPoEconnection to get connected to the net.
Here is the requirement. He would like to connect more PCs to the Iburst via ethernet and also connect to the internet wirelessly. Would that mean that the iburst would have to be connect to an ADSL wireless router that accepts ethernet input (like the linksys wrt54g)? Then the PCs can connect via the ethernet ports on the router and the laptop through the integrated wireless AP in the router. Must the router be able to dial the PPPoE connection for the Iburst to stay connected (like a normal always-on ADSL connection)? If i'm wrong could someone please provide me with the proper way of doing it.
Thanks in advance guys.
