In my quest on how to interface with the iburst modem and edit certain settings, I have come across these instructions:

1. IP to set 192.168.250.11
2. Any terminal program set to TCP or USB at 192.168.250.10 Port 1234
3. Command to access - <rfScan debug 2>
4. BScc - Tower Nr. , Cost – signal level in dB
5. Bscc 1 – Sanlam Center, 2 – Northcliff. Avoid these
6. Signal level -60/-70 VERY strong, -70/-80 strong, -80/-90 – good – 100% speed, -90/-100 weak – antenna required.
7. When finished - <rfScan debug 0>, <reboot>

Anyone got the skillz on how to change the utid? ;)

:) This is the basis of the monitoring apps... Also documented at http://www.unchained.co.za (/iBurst)

Is it firstly possible to change the UTID? Or is it burnt in? Ie, does anyone know of a UTID that has been changed with software?

Also try the help command, will tell you how to get more specific help, but be careful, very careful...
