how to connect?

I got a mecer stick , how do I connect to the net.
Insert any sim, will a screen pop up, or do I need to install something first.

Hey

Generally for a 3g stick you need to install the driver (if it doesn't automatically).

After that you can either use the dialer software that comes with it, or use windows (Dialup connection > *99# with username and pass blank) or you can use the MDMA tool that gingss created.

NB often the driver and dialer is bundled so sometimes you can't get around installing MTN/VC/whatever software dialer thing.

Alternatively you can purchase 3G usb stick with data for R99 - R150 comes with support card whereby a technician/support staff will assist you for 30 minutes setting up everything.
