How to enable notifications for threads?

I know this is possible. I think I read it once, but I had to leave my pc because I was busy with something. I'd like to see notifications (preferably emails) sent to me, whenever another user posts something after mine in a thread, or for each answer in a thread I create. I'm sure I'm not the only one who will find this useful.

Correct, you can set those under the subscription settings for each thread. It is under thread tools at the top of the first post in each thread. You can then select how and when you get notified.
