How to exclude foreign language programs from Netflix

I tried googling so please dont suggest that.

How do I make Netflix stop showing me what looks like a great movie, with an English title and English summary, but turns out to be Spanish / Japanese etc etc?

I dont think you can. For some reason there are tons of indian, korean, japanese crap on netflix.

Not sure if this technique will work for you but anyway.

1. You start the film
2. If you see subtitles within the 1-2 minutes, you stop it.

Rephrase. In my opinion, which does not matter, for some reason there is a load of crap asian shows excluding anime on netflix.

no - Netflix is in English - which is why I see the blurbs and subtitles in English - that's not the issue but thanks

One way - not foolproof - is to check the cast list that shows up with the blurb. Foreign names most likely indicate a foreign show. And also if the associated picture has Asians in it. But there's no way to filter it out in the listings. Or you could try downvoting all the foreign language shows you come across and less of those will show up in the main listings.

Well you're only solution is then to research the film before watching.
