How to get a NTSC (US) Wii?

Does anyone know where I could get a Wii from the US and have it shipped here?

I know that it is launching is SA soon, but I'm not ready to get shafted by Core (R600 per game! Only 3 launch titles?!?) and have to wait months for American releases to get released in Region 2 (Metroid and Paper Mario anyone?). The US games are also loads cheaper.

Someone please help - there must be someone who got a Wii from America without having to actually fly there and bring the thing back...

I'm not keen on buying second-hand. Anywhere I can buy it new? There must be SOMEWHERE that will ship it here, even if it costs a bit - I'll save in the long run.

The price for the ww at wantitall is a bit more than the South African price but then you can buy NTSC games from take2 and a lot cheaper

The supply issue is a thing of the past.

I'm sorted - a mate of mine says he knows someone who lives near the Nintendo world store in the US - and he can get me one for $250 and I need to pay for the shipping +-$50. Score!

Tell him to mark it as a gift otherwise you'll be nailed by import tax

Even with import, I'm sure it will be cheaper that buying here. Besides, it is a gift - from me to me.
