How to get ADSL?

Hey guys.

I am moving soon and had some questions regarding phone lines and ADSL.


Should I be looking for a place with an old phone line all ready in place. Will this make it cheap getting everything set up, or will i be paying a flat installation/connection fee regardless of them needing to install a line or just activate it.

I am interested in the Mweb 4meg premium uncapped line for gaming mostly. It says that it is R746 including the ADSL line. Now, does that mean I don't need Telkom to install a phone line and Mweb will install their own and I will pay R746 a month and nothing else. Or do I still need a Telkom phone line and Mweb will put in an ADSL line. Making it the R746 for the connection and ADSL line, plus the cost of the rental on the phone line from Telkom.

Hi kevinKevin, The R746 is for the ADSL line and ADSL data. You would still need to get Telkom to install a voice line.
