These are easy workable solutions. They are not full proof, though. I must say, that VPNs are easy to block, including DNS ip addresses, like google hosted DNS 8.8.8.8. So if you're in a paranoid country, they can frustrate your efforts, especially if they don't know what it is you're doing (or saying). This is normally done to those people that are suspected to be anti-.
