How to get domain registrant details?

Hi guys

Is there any way to get the registrant info for a domain? I know previously it was possible from Uniforum, but with the new system, these details are redacted. I think the registrant acquired the domain via Cipc.

The host won't help, they are specifically protecting the privacy of the registrant.
As @WAslayer states, contact page / send eMail.

Not possible any longer. Only by means of court orders.

If clients are looking to make contact or buy domains, some Registrars pass the messages on to their clients and then help facilitate

If you haven't received a response then you probably have your answer. I know if I got some random request from my domain registrar passing on a message from someone wanting to buy one of my domains I would probably just ignore it if I wasn't interested.

I know a pretty detailed/elaborate scam site that is incidentally hosted by a local popular ISP, but not really sure if it can be traced to a person or if there's any point asking the ISP. Scammers probably have fake details tied to everything including domain/DV cert, RICA and Bank Accounts.

It's with the bank fraud dept. so hopefully they're competent enough. I haven't heard much news from the victim or know the latest progress on whether they're getting their money back, but I'm just surprised the site is still going a week later. :/
