I have disabled Google Assistant in the settings on my Xiaomi mi 9, but now I constantly get a pop-up that I must turn it on(see images below). Sometimes I get it more than 20 times in an hour.

I have done lots of research, but can't find a solution.

I would be very grateful if someone could help my.

May take some tinkering but I follow this, and similar, guides on how to disable built-in apps on my Xiaomi's:

This post specifically:

Had the same issue on my wife's Mi 9. Disabled everything related to it, all notifications etc.

Turns out it was mapped to the AI button on the left of the phone, which was easy to press accidentally. Just change the mapping on that button to something else, or disable it entirely if you want...

So much this, Apple lover here but G.Assistant is the bomb. Makes Siri looks like a pre-school after hours jobbie.

Phew. The precursors to Google Assistant in 2013 were more advanced than Siri in 2021.
