For starters, you need an active volcano so you have the sulphur and ash/mist in the air necessary for the intense orange light.
Then you need powerful enough light behind your subject that it can overpower the light cast by the lava.
Photoshop has nothing to do with it, even if it's in the EXIF data. I could go process a raw file and immediately save it to jpeg, using PS, and it would get included in the EXIF. That wouldn't mean I had used photoshop to do any editing of the image.
This is why the distinction between editing and processing is important, kids.

and the lightsource behind the guy seems to be coming out of a doorway and a doorway in the middle of nowhere? i doubt it ...
Because I've seen similar photos from a friend that lives in hawaii who doesn't know how to use photoshop.

To replicate the effect, take a powerful light source that you're diffusing well. That light source has an orange gel/light colour modifier. Now place it behind something on a stage. Fill the stage with smoke from a smoke generator. Place a white light source such as a flash behind the person being photographed. Tada, replicated.
You're only proving you don't know how light modifiers work. You can replicate THAT effect using a softbox.
Bloody hell. "I don't understand how this was done so it must be photoshop!"
