How to hack your nokia (symbian)

Hi everybody I will teach you today how to hack your nokia.
A unhacked phone gives you certificate errors when you try to install a symbian app (nokia's way to stop you from installing freeware/homade/homebrew/hacked/pirated/cracked apps ) There are two ways to hack your phone using helloox or flashing a custom firmware with JAF.

First download helloox from here: http://www.quickshare.co.za/files/sfboluqb/Helloox.zip.html

Rompatcher+ 2.3 , helloox 2.03 , helloox 2.04 beta ,install server patch

I will recommend to use 2,03 but If your phone is on a unhackble firmware you must use 2.04
Try to run the signed one.

If it gives and error like certificate error you must now go to cer.opda.cn/en/. Now register. You can use a fake email it wont ask for email confermation. Now login and click aplly cer. Type in your phone at the top field for example: nokia 5230 now you have to type in you imei.To get your imei dial *#06# on your celllphone. Now type it in. Then at description you Type in your phones name again.This is the boring part you have to wait for 2-12 hours so do it before you sleep.Log in the next morning and download the .cer and .key (these will only work on your phone no one elses)

Once you have the cer and key you will need a program to sign it here are two programs that can do it: http://www.quickshare.co.za/files/fqryj3ju/signers.zip.html you only need one.The one is for your phone (already signed with unversal cer) so you can do it on your phone and the other is for your pc. Now you must sign helloox and rompatcher+ with the .cer and .key

Now try to install helloox from your phone. Then run it and wiat it will say stuff like installing root cert and stuff so wait. Once finished look in your apps folder for rompatcher+.If it isnt installed by helloox you must install it manully.Run rompatcher+ and click installserver and open4all.Open4all gives you acces to sys files and installserver make that you can install any app without errors. If nothing works (like if rompatcher says patchershaddow.lld missing)your phone cant be hacked with helloox but still can be hacked with cfw (custum firmware)

Flashing custom firmware.

This is a riksy way but more rewarding(like custom themes ,overclocking & more).
Get a custom firmware at dailymobile.se
To check your fw version and phone type (like RM-588) Type *#0000#
Get Jaf and Jaf pkey emulator and custim nokiamodels.ini

JAF: cant share since quickshare allows max 10mb (JAF is 17mb)

As far as I am aware this does not work on all versions of Symbian software.... we could have a number of people bricking their phones, disclaimer or not...

Helloox works on s60v3 and on s60v5.Normally Heloox cant brick your phone since its just a app but flashing your phone with wrong firmware can brick it thats why I siad flashing is risky

If you dont want to hack your phone you can aplly the cert to every program you want to install witch will be a long and boring prosess and you wont have sys file access so some apps that need sys acces wont work

Well Im almost sure helloox cant do any harm.(And if it does you can hard reset) But if your phone has a firmware that is unhackble version.You will need to use customized firmware.(im using Aurora Xtreme v21.0.004 on my new nokia 5230 ) To check your version you must dial *#0000# Then look on google or helloox2.com if your firmware is hackable with helloox. BTW JAF can flash bricked phones sometimes

I understand the reason to hack an iPhone.. But why would i want to hack my n97?? Are there any awesome must have apps or games that justify this?? I just don't see a reason...

You can run win 98 on your n97 with dosbox. And there are great accelometer games and some augmented reality demos.If you paid for someting from the ovi store and your phone broke or hard resetted you can copy your old licance files into the protected sys folder after the hack or install a cracked version since you already paid for it. And another benefit is that you can install apps on a memory card and ovi store puts everything on phone mem. Plus there are cool stuff like homebreww htc clock wigets and stuff. My nokia 5230 has custom firmware that also has special bugfixes and overclocks prosessor.

And even run/operate on the Windows Mobile OS. + there are hundreds of quite impressive premium Symbian applications + other cool features and no limitations.

I am using a hack on my N82 and it works fine. The problem is certain firmware upgrades were confirmed to override the hack and in other instances it did not work at all. My advice is rather do extensive research on your specific phone and firmware version before considering doing this. It is great when you get it working but it is in place for a reason, and not just to prevent hacked software being installed but also to lessen, or totally negate, the risk of viruses.

To hack my friends and my phone (V3 & V5), I just needed their .certs (made them online) and HelloOX. That's all, run HelloOX, reboot device. Voila! Handset hacked.

Did exactly this about six months ago and the N82, 5800 and 6110 Navigator phones are still working just fine.

Very nice to load apps on it that wouldn't work previously.
