Mine is stuck on 99FPS. I know Ican get much more, any1 knows what the console command is?

there's a console command for TF2 that increases fps, havent tried it in CSS yet

mat_queue_mode 2

enables multi-threading

*EDIT* Just checked and doesn't have it

fps_max 200

Really no point in having more frames though. It's actually better if you put vsync on and have the monitor on 70 or something. Then the fps will stay at 70 and what you see on the screen is more accurate, as in where you shoot is actually where you shoot...or so they say.

i guess he wants to screen capture his gameplay :D then when ppl see a massive fps, say WHOA!! 1600 FPS!!! lol aaaahh i wish lol :D

ya uses more than 1 core but agreed with the rest, once you're over 60fps you don't notice any difference

well in my opinion :) past 60fps I see no difference aswell, unless it drops this comming from a person that used to play it at ±20

lol i doubt you will see a difference, nor will you see a difference between lets say a constant 60 and a constant 700... since 60 is max smoothness no ? higher than 60 means the game runs too well,up the gfx!! i say if it doesnt jerk a lil the game isnt worth playing lol

Just bump it into 640x480 run everything low and at DX7 level... then you will see a fps jump!

Othwerwise 99fps is more than enough makes no difference, perhaps you should enable V sync :)

Running it at about 180 to 190 FPS. V-sync on, res 1680 x 1050, will let you guys know if there's a gameplay difference. No visual difference at least ;)

haha you cant have vsync on if ur fps is above ur monitor refresh... unless... no it can't be... do they make 1680 at that high refresh
