So I see I can have my Server redial a connection if dropped, but only a limited number of times!

How do I set it up so that it dials a connection automatically on bootup?

And that it will automatically Keep Alive any connection?

Using Windows XP...

Control panel -> internet options-> connections. You can set how your dial up connection works.

Another method is to register at dyndns.org for a free address, and then download their updater applet, and let that applet manage the connection. If the connection drops, it'll redial it.

Should the PC reboot, the applet will redial the connection upon restart.

But if you don't want to do that, then wizard's tip will also help. :)

thanks

Many thanks!

The DynDNS updater knocks two birds with one stone! Never knew it also managed dial-up connections!
