How to lose your Twitter verification

Twitter still thinks people view their verified status as a honour. The whole point of it was to verify if the profile was actually the profile of a prominent person and not some fake. Really the company is completely directionless.

Not improving UX that's for sure. God know's what the management is doing with the engineers
 
Yeah let's just ignore the obvious which is changing the "badge", that's if anyone even saw it as an endorsement. Let's decide to include censorship instead by deciding who may or may not be verified through their affiliations and political orientations.

Nope. Enforcement will be very selectively implemented. Don't expect abusive hate spewing nutbags like Keith Olbermann to lose their twitter verifications. This is just another sad attempt at censorship.

No, what I meant was instead of a list of things not to do, they could only have said that :p
 
So lets check this:
Promoting hate and/or violence on the basis of race, ethnicity, national origin, sexual orientation, gender, gender identity, religious affiliation, age, disability, or disease.
Supporting organisations or individuals that promote the above.

Lets see how consistent they are:
Malema:“We are not calling for the slaughter of white people‚ at least for now".
