Hello!

I'm looking for a crucial life pro tip. How does one make two cups of rice, 4 packets of noodles and one can of baked beans last three weeks for two people? Advice needed!!

1.Soup kitchens and you can wait behind grocery stores for the food they throw out at the end of each day (you might have to fight a bum or two)
2.Ask around for jobs (good places are McDonalds , car wash , fuel stations and convenience stores) .
3. Budget better so you know where you went wrong previously. No point in having a bunch of luxuries when you don’t have food on the table.

Trolling or is this real ?

If this is a serious question, I would most probably call up or visit local restaurants, pubs, small grocery stores and ask if you can get left over food for doing small tasks, ie wash dishes, look after cars

Thank you, funny part is I have a job just had an emergency I hadn't budgeted for last week but I'll try your suggestions

If your food needs to stretch, no better place to start than sending it to the gym.

Seriously, all you can do now is sell something for money for food, if you can. Getting credit for food is not a great idea, but it's still preferable to death ... so yeah there's that too.

Thank you,I will try that when I'm off work

Lol your first sentence made me chuckle.
Thank you although I have nothing of value just bare household essentials and credit I don't think they would agree. I don't really make much at the moment

Speak to your neighbours? Two families in the next street got into difficulty last year and we fed two of their teenage children for 8 months.

We were amazed how much a 17 year old could eat. The kids said that my wife’s food was “much better” than they got at home. We made them eat plenty of fruit and no junk food. We suspect their diet was pretty bland and they had never been to a decent restaurant. The girl started crying, she was so impressed with the decor and food. It was only Cattle Baron in Constantia

Most of the people here chipped in. One tried to get them to join the church. I didn’t think this was an onerous undertaking although the parents did not like it

That is so sweet,it must have meant the world to them.
I'm unfortunately new to this area and don't know anyone yet.

Weigh or measure everything.
Decide how often you want to eat.

I would suggest every second day.
Divide food into 7 equal portions and then you have food for 2 weeks.

Adjust accordingly.

Water fasting is really good for your health.
