It's illegal to lock any phone to a network in South Africa. Period.
Vodacom have started selling some network locked phones. Mostly prepaid and they are cheaper. These are clearly marked in our dealsheets. Sales person should inform you of this before the sale is done.I recently bought a mobicel phone powered by Vodacom in South Africa so what can i do if i want to use it in another country??
