Hi guys

i have seen on the payfine website that i have an outstanding fine

the camera caught me in richmond on the n1 to cpt from jhb

my car is registered in jhb and i am in cpt now

i cannot pay over the net cause of no credit card

is there another way to pay it cos i dont have the fine just the reference number on the net

you can surely print what you see on the net...

Call the relevant traffic dept. Get banking details, fax, email...

Then go to the bank, pay the money, then fax, email & post a cert copy of the deposit to them..

ok thanks good idea

i just hope you dont need to pay it in jhb or something

edit : it does have a notice number , is that the the reference for paying at a post office or bank or something

rather call them. Give that number & ask.

It does not matter where the bank is. What matters is that you pay it into the correct dept's account.

If they issue a court summons you'd have to go to jhb. So this is well worth putting a lil effort into.

ok will do

thanks and its a r200 fine but yeah need to pay

edit: called them now and the lady gave me banking details and fax number so will do it today

It's much easier to just go pay it at the post office. Most post offices have that service. No certifying nonsense necessary, just keep the receipt they give you.

Edit: Also, some banks (like Standard Bank for example) let you pay fines through internet banking, straight from your account. No credit card necessary.

the lady gave me bank details so would go to std bank and deposit it and fax through the receipt

the fine was issued about 2 months ago and only now it showed up on the site so need to pay it asap

I just checked Paycity again today, it really only looks at JMPD fines. I currently cant drive in the Free State due to a small fine I have outstanding there.

yeah some sites dont have certain traffic department

i got the fine in richmond northern cape and lucky the viewfines site covers that area
