So I'm looking to buy a SIP-enabled intercom doorphone like this:

Handling the technical side of connecting it to my inhouse PABX system is no problem, but my main concern is how do I secure it physically so that someone doesn't just rip it off the wall and walk away with it? Any ideas?

Why even have something like an intercom?

Anything outside your perimeter needs to be in a steel box (solid or mesh). Custom ones are expensive.

I'm thinking maybe I can cut out a recess in the brick wall that it's going to be mounted on so that it's flush against the wall, or mount it in some sort of box with a mesh screen like you suggest. I just want to stop a casual attempt at removing it, obviously given enough time nothing's going to stop a determined person with a crow bar.
