How to program DSTV A7 remote

Hi Guys
Does anyone know how to program the DSTV A7 remote to use on an amplifier. I have programmed it for the TV but can't seem to find a step to setup with the amp. Thanks

Tried that already. Setup for controlling TV is done. No instructions for Amp.

If your amp has a remote, procedure same as for tv. Use AV button at the top.

Please explain the process I am missing from the steps below.
To set the tv the steps were the following.
1. Press and hold tv and ARC button for 3 secs. Then select brand via alphabet via the corresponding number on the keypad and hold till tv goes off. Then release button. Worked for the TV no issues.

Tried the exact same step but instead of TV button I used the AV button. That did not work.

Has anyone managed to programme the TV button on the remote for a Skyworth TV? I tried holding down the 7 button for "S" but without success.
