How to report speeding on a certain road

How will you be able to prove it anyway without a camera?

Phone the traffic dept. If nothing is done, phone again. Send them emails. Don't stop until they do something.

The street lights in a certain section just remained on 24/7 for three months. I emailed the City of Cape Town non stop until they did something about it.

You could always try as an added measure writing a letter to your local community paper. You know, like the free weekly in your area. Sometimes if the editor publishes letters and tries to get comment from the council that helps.

And OP knows they were speeding how? Best guess? lol.

Contact your Ward Councillor and let them communicate with your metro's traffic department. That works here in PE.

You notice when its a 60 zone...hey...im worried because its a road next to a dam.Im 21 and don't have children so im worried for people who have them.

With the amount of laws taxi drivers break and stuff i really see this a waste of time on your part unless its serious,

True...but I don't have evidence for the speeding but want to tell metro about it.Im talking about people really gunning it...not like 70 in a 60 zone but like +- 100 over.

I live on the main road from the freeway into town and 75% of the cars coming past my gate are doing 80+ and one woman finally wrote her Mercedes off after passing my place at over 140 and not making it past the next bend, and still the cops prefer to sit on the freeway and do nothing about ours...we are farting against thunder here

Speeding in urban areas is unfortunate, but nothing is probably going to happen in your street until after something deadly happens. Or if the cops find your street is good for making money, and that will only happen if there's a lot of traffic and a lot ppl to trap
