how to reset a non - telkom router

Hi All

I have a Netgear N300 router and Internet has been troubling lately. I would like to reset the router (the ipconfig ). This router was not purchased from Telkom and I believe that it is different to reset. Please could you tell me step by step how to reset it.

If there is a button on the back hold it down for 30 seconds, 1 minute to be damn sure.

If there isn't log into the web interface and choose "Factory Rest / Factory Defaults" from the menu.

Most routers have the same reset process.

Paperclip in reset hole, hold for 30 seconds or until power light flashes.

Keep adsl details handy, this will be wiped.
