I need some help please. I have created a Virtual Machine using VMWare 8. The VM is using Windows 7 Professional. On the host machine Im running also a copy of Windows 7, professional. I have changed the VM network settings to host only and have successfully managed to create a homegroup between the host and the vm. The problem is that Im failing to share an internet connection with the two. I have installed my usb modem on the vm and it works perfect, but I cannot share the connection.

I have looked at the VMWare site for answers but just cannot seem to come right. Can anyone please assist me.

Have you tried setting the Network on the VM to NAT?

Hi There,
Using NAT it should be possible. Here is a link to the VMware support entry to assist in setting it up. If you want to watch a Youtube video then there is one here
