Hi Guys and Girls,
So the place where I completed my internship last year has kept me on full time this year. (Happy days)
Four new interns have come in and I am in charge of some of their training and showing them the ropes.
The problem is that they don't seem to think of me the same way as some of the more senior people.
I'm thinking that I am only a year older than them and only just completed my internship last year might have something to do with it.
So my question is how do I stamp a bit of authority on them so they can show me the same type of respect as the older guys instead of thinking of me as one of them?
I don't want to take a Hitler approach but at the same time don't want them to think of me as a friend who they can get away with certain things (work is work)
Any experiences or advice you can pass on?
Thanks
