How to start a SIDE GIG

For all those corporate slaves who don't want to live in the perpetual cycle of eat-sleep-work, try something exciting this year...!

You don't need Venture Capital to be an entrepeneur!

  1. Make sure your company allows it or even vaguely allows it :-)
  2. Ensure that it's not a conflict of interest i.e. selling cars if you're a car salesman
  3. Don't make it too complicated, remember it's a side gig to do in your sparetime hopefully to evolve into something GREAT, so you can give your boss the middle finger!
  4. Find something you're already good at - you don't want to spend the next 10 000 hours learning a new skill
  5. Finally it's a side gig first to earn an extra buck and secondly to do at your own leisure not to add additional stress and burden!
  6. Enjoy!

Feel free to contribute to the list

A freaking drive-through coffee place. Man, whoever sets that up in my area will get a bucket load of business from me :P

@mr_norris I am so with you on that one. I cannot believe in this day and age there are still no drive through coffee shops.

McDonalds & KFC already offer drive thru coffee, unless you want the real good stuff - the real black gold :D
