How to synchronise files?

I am using a company supplied notebook during the day, and my personal notebook at nighttime at home.

In conjunction with that, I have an external HDD where I manually move files to and from. Is there a program that will sync the files automatically when I plug the external HDD or when "ejecting" it?

Supplied with IOmega External HDDs are software which will do this. Otherwise look into iFolder if you got a decent internet connection & server to use.

Try Synctoy from Microsoft, it might fulfill your needs.

I'd also suggest Synctoy. You can schedule it as well. Another option would be to make a share and map it, then enable those files offline
