How to terminate Monthly Data Bundle

Hi,

I need to terminate a "Monthly Data Bundle" and to do this the Vodacom site state.

"Please note: Due to restrictions on certain bundles and packages, clicking “Terminate” on your active data bundle service will not deactivate the current data bundle. Please activate the MyMeg 0 service instead"

The problem is that I cannot find MyMeg 0 listed anywhere as an option.

Am I missing something ? Any pointers ?

Spoke to Dion. He is a Autopage client unfortunately and therefore could not help him. Gave him the telephone numbers for Autopage and advised him to give them a shout so that they can remove the data bundle for him on their system.

Autopage *sigh! Even when you phone them and have the bundle cancelled it still goes on, in fact they might upgrade you to the next more expensive bundle option :confused::wtf:

I am very embarrased. Dion gave me another call and it turns out he is not a Autopage client. My system was acting odd...but managed to get his number up on my screen. He is prepaid though and my system is very limited with prepaid numbers. I advised him to give 082111 a call as they can see active services on prepaid numbers.

VD....I was not aware that you can have monthly data bundles on prepaid????? :o
 
Now I know why everybody is pulling hair about Autopage

How is this one
I am with Autopage prepaid since 2000, updated my Sim to K32 data a few years ago at an Autopage branch
Now they tell me their is no record of my Cell or ID no on their system

WTF !

My contract with autopage ends in November......i cant wait to go to cellc :) Autopage HAS to be the most frustrating service provider to deal with!
 
I was not aware that you can have monthly data bundles on prepaid????? :o

If I'm not mistaken, on prepaid when you buy a bundle you are offered either a recurring one or a one-time bundle. Many people get confused and end up with a bundle which simply keeps being reloaded (and therefore deducted from your airtime) every month as long as there is airtime on the device. Beware!
