how to use Quickpar

hey ppl......

ive got all the RAR files and all the PAR files. when i try to extract the rar files i get an error.

so im assuming i have to use quickpar. but i have no idea how to use it!

any help on how to use quickpar or amy suggestions would be appreciated....

Download and install quickpar, then all par files should be associated with it. Then open any one of the par files in the same directory as the zip and it should scan the files in the directory, after it scanned a repair files should appear. Just click that and your should be able to unzip files after it's repaired, providing of course that there are enough parts to repair it ;)
 
installing quickpar should have associated par files with it. Simply double click a .par file and it'll open in quickpar. Quickpar will then automagically go through the data files (.rar) and fix them if necessary and possible using the parity files (.par).
 
ok it tried double clicking the files after installing quickpar. most of them say repair not needed but on 3 of them it says "need 87 more blocks"........

what now?

Now you have to find more zip files of the same file to download or more par files. If there some files that are damaged or not complete, you will have to re-download those files. Hopefully you can find all the parts needed. Before you download a file, make sure that all the parts are there!

http://www.binsearch.info/ to search for stuff and make nzb files. Don't download the files if it has something like 1640/1700 in red, that means that all parts aren't uploaded onto news servers ;)
