How was your voting experience?

in at around 14:00. out at 14:05. longest i waited was for the lady to pre fold the ballot

Utterly boring... No fighting or shouting or shooting...
In and out in less than 5 minutes
Went late afternoon...

Bit disappointed most of the guys i work with didnt bother...

Also noticed a lot of un-inked thumbs today while out shopping...

Voting was at a local school... First thing that greeted you was a tap pissing water out all over... The Room for the voting was also insufferably hot with no fan... Bad luck for those who had to sit there all day....

Super quick. Friendly staff. On the note of staff, I have seen a lot of people complain about being mistreated by the IEC staff, including some framing it at the exact time I was there... Weird. A lot of strangeness is happening in community and security WhatsApp groups lately.

I can't complain about the experience, pretty much 1st world stuff.

I went to my voting station and it was a quick in and out.

Went to the voting station for my dad down the road and it was an hour+ wait.

I think the IEC could do with some optimising.

In queue at 06:45
Done at 08:20

Before I even left the house I knew I should go later but just wanted that part of the day done so figured may as well chat to random strangers while waiting.

Walked to the voting station (~1.5km/20minutes), started queueing at 09:01 and walked out of the station at 10:22. Stopped for a beer at the local on the walk home and got a free drink because I had the "mark''.

Can't complain.

I arrived at 07h30 and was home by 08h00. Took my mom at about 13h50 and was home 14h00. All in all it was a pleasant experience. One of the officials though, forgot to stamp my ballot paper. Luckily I noticed before going into the voting booth.

Special vote for dad on Monday- folk went to his flat. I went to the local station at 13:00 and was done by 13:08.
