I need a HDD to record a video feed.
Now what is boggeling my mind is the following:
1. Will the HDD only need power to be able to do it, or does it need a CPU
in order to execute the software to run the recording?
2. I need software to loop the recording on a time bases, lets say 48 hours of recording - Looped (Meaning at 48 hours it will start recording over the old recordings)
3. How big a HDD is needed for 48 hours worth of data footage?
All input is appreciated
