This is not the first build but I think it's better than the first. The fact that I suffer from acute indecision has prevented me from buying a previous build a while ago.

But here goes...

Motherboard MSI AM2+ (still uncertain of precise model R 1050

Ram Mushkin PC 8500 DDR 2 2gb R 500

Case Antec/coolermaster/not too bothered R 500

All prices are marginally rounded and include VAT.

Is this a good deal, do you have any opinions, particularly on the motherboard (am a total MOBO noob)? Should I go for DDR 3, if so, what should I change, etc?

good price for a budget in that range, except add in the card reader, DVD RW, at least a 17"LCD.

i must admit those are some nice prices, where you getting your parts from? could you post links under each part so we can see where you getting them from

Those must be wholesale prices. I can't see re-sellers selling at prices.

Ya but R1000 but a 4830 is actually better value. Where are you getting that deal on the 4830 BTW?
