At first glance I was not that impressed with HP's Compaq 6735s Notebook. At about 2,7 kg, it is not an excessively big device, but it goes against the current trend of making laptops slimmer and lighter.
But it does have the AMD Turion X2 processor, which can handle the demanding Window's Vista operating system.
The only real problem I found is that it seems geared towards supporting Microsoft products. I've got nothing against the software vendor, but I don't think HP will win over Apple users with this device.
For all that, the new notebook has an anti glare screen - useful for working outdoors. Also, its USB ports are spaced nicely. Despite some reservations, then, it is an adequate machine, and a good buy.
