HP Compaq nc8000 DVD/CD-RW

Hi

I'm looking for the above drive. If anyone has one laying around, maybe from an upgrade, please let me know what you want for it. Even if you have one that doesn't work, I may be interested as it's the spindle I'm looking to replace (if thats possible).

Part of the clip on the spindle just broke on mine. The disk made a funny noise, I opened the drive and a few little plastic bits fell out

If it is similar to NC6220, try Device. They may have extra from a batch they brought in. They should have 80GB drives (removable).
