I have no idea if this is put in the right subforum but if it isn't, please move it 
OKAY SO I have this printer. HP Deskjet D1600.
EVERYTIME I print something, the print job just... Stops? I am not actually sure what the issue is but the page just sits halfway through the printer and the on/off switch is flickering.
The usual things that I do are:
Sometimes even restarting the PC doesn't help and the thing gets stuck again.
Why does this happen? I've updated software, drivers etc. and the printer has ink. So I am stuck as to what the issue is and I need to print things urgently so destroying the printer (as much as I want to) is not an option.

- Hold down the on/off switch in hopes something happens.
- Unplug the printer from USB/Power and hope it wakes up when replugged in and turned on.
- ATTEMPT to cancel the print job but it never cancels.
- End process "spoolsv.exe" (that's worked for me before).
