I stripped my Pavilion dv7 the other day and was quite shocked to find a bay for a second 2.5'' hdd. The original hdd is enclosed inside of a piece of cardboard attached to two aluminium strips.Thought it would be nice to stick a 2.5'' ssd in there to speed up performance for some of the development applications I run most of the time.
Anyone happen to have an idea how much this will set me back and where I can get one?(don't say hp as they wanted to charge me almost 3k for a battery that I got from someone else for just over a grand,new and original). I appears that I will need the bracket and the cable to connect the hdd to the mobo
