HP Officejet 7313 AC ADAPTER

I was given a Officejet 7313 printer yesterday evening but it's missing it's AC adapter (power cable boxie thingy). I'm found a few on offer from ebay for very reasonable prices but was hoping I might be able to pick one up from a SA store for a similar price. I'm willing to look at generics as well.

Unfortunately my Google-fu seems to be failing me. Anyone able to help by pointing me in the right direction?

On the printer itself, what does it say where you plug in the power cord? Or somewhere on the printer.

You might be looking for a specific power adapter when you could be using a generic one. It should just be a basic regulated AC->DC power supply, if you can find the correct output voltage you can get one from a electronic store with the correct voltage and amperage.

31v / 2400mA. I'm just worried about the size of the 'jack' (not sure if that's the correct term). Would HP use non-standard jack in order to ensure you can just plug any power supply in there?

Possible. Does it say DC for sure? Just check because it's such an odd voltage that it may be AC.

Usually when you buy a regulated power supply you can get one with different adapters. Let me quickly see if I can find one for you that matches the specs.

This is all I could fine: It's off by 1 volt (which usually isn't an issue) but considering the price it may be better to contact HP directly and enquire.

That price is pretty steep
