HP Pavilion 6000 Wifi

Hi,

I have been having problems with the wireless connection on my laptop. I just googled it and apparently there was a problem with the 6000 and 9000 series. Does anyone have a fix for this?

guess i gotta look for a usb wireless adaptor. how much are those things?

must call hp first.

just called them. need to replace motherboard. called service centre for quote-need to email [email protected] and provide details of laptop, problem and contact details.

usb, there should be an express slot option as well.

If you are thinking of going N, just check compatibility issues between the various pieces of kit you intend hooking up. It may be safest by ensuring all the cards are from the same manufacturer.
