Can anyone tell me where I can get a spare battery for this or anything compatible to HSTNN-IB17 and what the cost would be?

Nope, apparantly Incredible doesn't stock them and HP SA says that the Pavillion notebook range isn't supported in SA, so any spares or accessories have to be imported from overseas.

I think you right. Gave a couple of my suppliers a call and no-one stock that.
