HP ProLiant MicroServer

How do I access the BIOS on an HP Gen8?

Reset and everything was working, but the minute I rebooted it stopped. It now says 'Non System Disc or disk error'

Nothing is plugged in

EDIT : I actually can't get anything to work ... USB nothing. Trying to start fresh as I bought it

If anyone is near North Riding, I'd be happy to pop through with a bottle of whiskey if you know how to sort of the Gen 8 :) I managed to set up once before (I have no idea how!) but looking at the instruction , iLo, RAID, array etc makes my head spin ...

My house LAN is finally 1gb, however the HP microserver (GEN8)
only negotiating at 100.
I tried diffrent cables and swap the ports.

I am currently running open media vault (debian).

Anyone know whether there's a gfx card that fits in the microserver and does hardware hevc on openelec?

Kodi 18 supports it via vdpau... it will become possible soon I'm sure

What is stopping you from moving to Windows, don't say something asinine like you don't support Microsoft or something, just have it so it launches Kodi on boot?

Unless you have Linux specific things you need I understand but otherwise your everyday GUI booting straight to Kodi you won't even know.

Yeah I tried that once and to make Windows 10 boot into Kodi fullscreen at startup required so many jumps through hoops and hacks that I just installed Ubuntu and later OpenELEC.

OpenELEC is awesome because it’s basically a super lightweight appliance which makes it even better suited to the already pap Microserver.
