Making progress, can anyone recommend a usb audio adapter for an HP N54L? I have a Gigabyte 610 card in it but I'm currently using the server as a desktop for now and was wondering if there is a usb to headphone jack adapter?

Where do you plan to buy this? It looks like something I can use.
Hi Guys,
I have an NL54 running Windows 7.
I use it mostly for two main purposes (and the third now and again).
1. Downloading video content (Sickbeard Couchpotato etc.)
2. Plex media server (streaming to plex clients like iPad and Android TV box)
3. Running apps that wont work on OSX.
Generally it works well.... However I find that it struggles with transcoding HD content for Plex. This causes choppy video playback.
Obviously this is not great and I need to find a solution. Either I have to buy an additional machine to take over the Plex role or I have to find a way to boost the transcoding of the Microserver...
The machine also has a low profile NVida HDMI card in it and I was wondering if there is a hack to offload some of the transcoding from the CPU to the GFX card?
Or any other ideas to bulk up the transcoding?
Also using N54L. Used to have some stuttering / delays when more than 1 device required streaming. I then changed everything to gigabit and never had the issue again.
I am experiencing the problem when streaming to a single player. The problem arises due to the CPU utilisation being stuck at 100% when transcoding HD content. I also experience the same issue when playing the content on the local machine via the web interface.
