You need the android app from here and then enter your relevant network settings for your box on the network, enable network control in xbmc/openelec and your good to go. Pretty easy.

Few 2tb HDD from wootware that are around R1300-R1500 Seagate/Western Digital, not to bad but still not good, guess one just has to suck it up and go for it.

Guessing the difference between the 2 is the CPU? Feels like the cheaper one is just better bang for your buck.

The difference is that at HP shop you get MS Server with and at digital planet you don't. Same spec server afaik.
 
If im going to install OpenELEC is the MS Server software needed, nice to have or just go the cheaper route?
 
I'd say just go the cheaper route and spend the difference on a graphics card ;)

I still need to check with Axiz but otherwise I guess I'll have to order from America...

no dude Cafe Viva has them they ordered 2 that day i took the last one of the previous batch...
only problem is that XBMC eden release does not want to play audio when HDMI is chosen for
HD movies i have to change it to analog but not a big problem as future releases should include this.

If I turn off the settings DTS capable and AC3 capable receiver, HDMI audio works for me. (was posted in the forum but I forgot by who).
