Trying to remove the system board tray to install new RAM (to 8GB). But I can't remove the black cable with chrome-metal clip near front-left of the MBoard. Anyone know how to remove this cable? How does the plug work?
Edit: Ah, it just came loose. No need to hassle. Thanks.
HP Shop (run by Digital Planet). www.hpshop.co.za.where did you buy from arthur?
Struggling with ubuntu and the hd5450. Worked fine on openelec
Video is choppy.
Yep, unfortunately its still preferred to go with an nvidia card when using linux, its just a lot less hassles.
R1359 @ cybernatic - after delivery almost R160 cheaper than hpshop![]()
First of all, Bullseye thanks for your awesome work
I've installed in my N40L with gt210 and it works great. But now, I've a problem, when I try to mount a hdd with my media library the system asked me for the super user password (authenticate) and I can´t find it in the forum
I'll try to make a similar work but with the 64 bit version, I want to see how it works with 8gb RAM and a 16Gb pendrive for the OS (really for the cache, subtitles, addons, etc.)
Thanks in advance for you help
Greetings
It's supposed to be fairly quiet. Is this server noisy like a standard server ?
Ah, damn >.< I blocked SU access somewhere along the line, will have to re-enable it. I'll have a new upload ready this evening. I can do it remotely if you can load teamviewer so that I can drop in from here.
Alternatively: http://www.psychocats.net/ubuntu/resetpassword will explain how it's done, use it to reset the "support" password, and you're golden![]()
