hi dudes and gals , i just purchased a hp 620 laptop , but i am in need of hp recovery manager in order to create recovery disks. i cant seem to find this software on their site. has the name changed ?.

if this software is not available anymore is their a way i can clone the recovery partition for the device.
your help would be greatly appreciated thanks.

You should be prompted for the "Press F11 Key" to enter the recovery partition mode, failing that...you need Recovery DVD's which you would have made once you booted the laptop into windows and ran the recovery CD boot wizard

i do have the f11 option , but what what if something goes wrong , I would like to backup the recovery partition if something goes wrong , then im stuffed , since i never got a prompt for a recovery dvd creation i would like to know if this is even possible ?

i know i am a newbie to the laptop world , this is my first laptop and wouldn't like to be put in crapper because i accidentally stuffed up that partition . what for instance would happen if i install a linux distro on the laptop would i lose my recovery partition as well.
